Welcome to Leisure Games

Lets get a few things straight, this isn't your grandpa's leisure games :) Today's leisure games comprise of highly competitive games that focus around the back yard. In fact, these games can get so competitive that I wouldn't call them leisure at all! Its a far cry from the picture below so lets just get that out of your mind:



Our leisure games unit consists of 3 specific games:
- Bags
- Ladder Ball
- Boccie Ball

Each student is required to learn the rules, understand the scoring and master the craft which will be displayed in the end of the unit Leisure Games Tournament!

In Physical Education vernacular, leisure games is considered a life long activity, in fact I hope that the games these students learn can be taken home and shared with their entire family! Leisure games are fun, exciting and a great motivator to get out of the house and have some back yard fun.
